UCAS Reminder
Dear Parent/Carer,
The UCAS application process is well underway, and I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of some key actions that should have been completed to date and imminent deadlines.
- all pupils intending to apply to university should have registered via UCAS website.
- following registration, applicants will have identified a preferred referee and informed their Head of House.
- 1st draft personal statements are due to referees by Friday 13th October.
- any course at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, or for most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine/science, and dentistry. You can add choices with a different deadline later, but don’t forget you can only have five choices in total. Application deadline 16 October 2023 for 2024 entry at 18:00 (UK time)
If you have any queries or require support, please contact your Head of House in the first instance. Applicants are expected to take a lead role in progressing their application and should be encouraged to actively engage with the resources provided in the UCAS google classroom, joining code 4postam.
