SQA Result 2023
Dear parent/Carer
SQA results will be issued to pupils on Tuesday 8th August 2023. Pupils will receive a text message with their results, if they have signed up to ‘my SQA’, which all young people have been encouraged to do. Text messages with results are generally issued early in the day, on results day. All young people will receive the traditional postal certificate containing their results regardless of whether or not they have signed up to ‘My SQA’.
Often when a young person receives their results, this may have an impact on the options they have chosen and these options may no longer be appropriate.
We have set aside some time in school, prior to the term starting, to allow pupils who require to change their subject choices to come in and do so. Pupil support managers and Depute Head Teachers will be available to discuss results and subsequent option choices with young people and make changes to their time tables on this day. This means that at the start of term pupils can begin new timetables, without any delays, making the most of the time they have available and not missing out on any classes.

Tuesday 8th August (Results day) 12.00 – 3.00pm
Wednesday 9th August 10.00 – 3.00pm
