Newcastle v AC Milan on the 13th into the 14th of December - Updated link
Dear Parent/Carer
We are exploring an opportunity to organise an overnight trip to see Newcastle v AC Milan on the 13th into the 14th of December.
We are looking to gauge the level of interest at this stage. Please complete the Google form [link at the bottom] if you wish to comment or express an interest in this for your child.
Please note that this is not confirmation of a place, as we are limited to 45 places. Should interest exceed this, pupils will be drawn at random, pulling names from a hat. As there is a quick turnaround for deposit payment, return of interest must be in by Friday 22/09/2023.
Details about the trip:
Newcastle v AC Milan Champions League football match at St James’ Park in Newcastle.
Wednesday 13th to Thursday 14th December.
Cost: £265 per person. As this is a shorter payment timeframe than we would normally have, we have negotiated a possible payment schedule as follows:
Wednesday 27/9/2023 – Deposit of £100
Friday 27/10/2023 – Second payment of 85
Monday 24/11/2023 – Third payment of £80

4.00pm Estimated to arrive at Hotel Accommodation (Check-in)
5.00pm Transfer to Newcastle United FC
6.00pm Estimated to arrive at St James’ Park
8.00pm Match kick-off
10.30pm Transfer to Hotel
Day 2
8.00am Breakfast
9.00am Transfer to partner EPL/EFL club
10.00am Training Development Session with professional coaches
12.00pm Transfer to Newcastle United FC
1.00pm Behind the Scenes Stadium Tour of St James’ Park
3.00pm Depart from Newcastle
7.30pm Estimated to arrive at Calderglen HS.
As this is a reward trip, the school reserves the right to withdraw any pupil who is not meeting the expectation for behaviour and effort prior to this trip. Communication with parents around this would happen in advance of any final decision.
